Charenelle Jean Williams

Charenelle Jean Williams grew up in South Jamaica, Queens, New York, and is a creative, faith-based writer who has been writing since the age of twelve. She has earned a Master of Arts in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology. Charenelle Jean also attended York College of the City University of New York, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing. Williams wrote the center page, Pandora Speaks article titled Single Parent on a Mission for Pandora’s Box, the York College Student Newspaper in the Spring of 2001; she has several poems published in the York College Literary Journal Voices ii; and has written an article titled Students with Disabilities Day for Compass, the York College Student Services Newsletter. Williams is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Management at the University of Phoenix and has been inducted into the University of Phoenix Chapter of the National Society for Leadership and Success (honors society). She lives in New York City with her only child and namesake, Charenelle Maya.
